The 2024 Roger Phinney Invitational Valve Cover Races are scheduled for Saturday March 2nd at Halifax Jaguar located at 6031 Livingstone Street. Entry to the showroom/race track will be via the front door with weigh-ins starting at 10:00am sharp. Parking will be on either of the 2 side streets, Livingstone St. or Stairs St.
Racing will start as soon as all weigh-ins and practice runs are complete, and should wrap up between 11:30am-12:00pm. After the races end, and the trophy presented, we will head out for lunch at 12:30pm at Jim's Family Restaurant in Rockingham (243 Bedford Highway, Halifax, B3M 2J9) just 8 minutes from Halifax Jaguar.
Registration for the event will open on the website starting Wednesday, February 21st, at 11:00am. Racers must register and they can also register a guest (who might have to race your car if you loose your nerve!) Your guest/stand-in-driver/spectator can also be registered for the lunch.
Our race/leader board is set up for a maximum of 16 racers. The entrants for this years event will be selected from all members who register with Valve Cover Racers, based on their registration date/time for the event.
