Marketplace ads will run for two editions of the newsletter, unless you notify Graham Tuck prior to the ad’s expiration. As usual, he will send a reminder via email prior to laying out each edition - the difference will be that if he does not hear from you, he will remove the ad rather than leave it in. This is necessary to reduce repetition and clutter in the Marketplace section. For those advertisers who aren’t on the BATANS email list, you must contact Graham to let him know you want re-run your advertisement.

For non-members, the cost for placing an ad in our classified section in the newsletter and web page is $20.00 for a three month period. Cheques can be made out to B.A.T.A.N.S. and mailed to P.O. Box 5033, Waverley, NS, B2R 1S2 together with the advertisement.

For Sale

1973 TR6. Owned for ten years and have all receipts. Approx. 18,000 miles on a complete engine rebuild. Body off frame restoration last year. All new metal wings, sills, floors, rockers, trunk, stern.  It is a great reliable, sturdy fun car that would need a few cosmetics to complete. I don’t have much interest in adding up the receipts for the work done on the car but I know my asking price of $18,000 doesn’t even come close.

1974 MGB GT. Chrome bumper; floors, inner/outer and castle rails, lower fenders, all replaced. Car painted in black tulip colour, Engine redone: head machined and checked, valves done, new rings, gaskets, bearings and oil pump. New clutch, new brakes, windshield rubbers replaced, decent tires and chrome. Interior redone with leather earlier model new seatcovers; all interior pieces are installed including original retractable seatbelt. Car has been tuned and works very well. All electrics are sorted. On the down side this car was converted from a roadster to a GT. The conversion was well done but detracts from originality. It is a solid car needing a more professional paint job than I was able to do! Ready to go at $4500.
