For the first time in many years, rain was not an issue for this run and although it was cool, the sun was out and tops were down and there were no breakdowns or problems with the 12 or more British cars. What more could you askl for.
The trees had lots of colour Friday on our route through New Ross, New Germany to Caledonia and Milford House. The first duty was to get the charming, rustic cabins warmed up using the huge fieldstone fireplaces which is not an easy chore as most have no electric heat but there was loads of free firewood!
Saturday our tour leaders Rick and Wendy (in a Ford Focus!), guided us to the Annapolis Craft Market in Annapolis Royal, Delap's Cove and then back to Digby for a delicious lunch at the Fish store restaurant at the fishing wharf where huge scallop meal can be had for about $12.00 and done to perfection. The afternoon was spent touring the Bear River Vinyards , sampling and purchasing their product then heading back to Milford House for dinner. After dinner a few party types headed to the Grafton Community Centre for an entertaining Blues & Jazz night.

Sunday we visited Rick and Wendy's beautiful home for a cuppa' and cookies and where Rick displayed his huge undertaking replacing the compete frame on is Austin Healey as well as many other body parts as required. We were really impressed with the quality of work Rick is doing and this will certianly be a 1st class restoration when completed. Thanks to Rick and Wendy for their planned tour Saturday and hospitality Sunday.

We retraced our Friday route back to Windsor and then onto Frank Boothroyd's home and garage by 2:30 PM where he set a Guinness Book of World Records for “The Most Little British Cars Ever Assembled At 410 Lawrence Road On A Sunday Afternoon” which was set with a total of 23 cars I believe! This was an unxpected turnout for Frank and we did get to see Michael Fegan's beautiful 1966 Morgan +4 and Garth Scott's recently acquired, very tidy Truimph TR6.

All in all, this was a very successful A.H.S.M.F.F.T. weekend and a big thanks to those who organized it and members who attended. Good times with great people!
